Questions are part of good planning.
Here are clear answers to the things travelers ask us most. If your question is more specific, a local planner is one email away.
Booking & payment
How do I book a tour?+
Send a request from any tour page or the contact form. We confirm availability, refine the itinerary with you and issue a written confirmation. A booking becomes secured only after the agreed deposit is received.
How much is the deposit?+
The deposit amount and due date depend on the services being reserved. Both are stated in your written proposal before you confirm.
Which payment methods do you accept?+
Available payment methods, currency, fees and the balance schedule are stated on the quotation or invoice before payment.
Are prices per person?+
Yes, unless stated otherwise. Tour prices depend on party size, dates, room arrangement and accommodation category. Your proposal shows the total and per-person amount.
When will I receive confirmation?+
An inquiry is not a confirmed booking. We first check the route and requested services, then send the next steps. A booking is confirmed only after the agreed payment is received and written confirmation is issued.
Before you travel
Do I need a visa for Morocco?+
Visa rules depend on nationality and can change. Check with the nearest Moroccan consulate or official government source before travel; your passport should usually remain valid for the required period after entry.
When is the best time to visit?+
Spring and autumn offer comfortable conditions across most regions. Winter is excellent for cities and desert days but cold at night. Summer works best with early starts, coastal time and careful desert planning.
What should I pack?+
Bring comfortable shoes, sun protection, a reusable bottle, modest lightweight clothing and warm layers for mountain or desert nights. We send a season-specific list with confirmation.
Do I need travel insurance?+
Yes. We strongly recommend comprehensive cover for medical care, cancellation, baggage and activities. Verify that your policy covers every planned activity and destination.
Can you accommodate dietary needs?+
Usually, yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-aware and allergy-related needs can be planned, though remote areas have less variety. Tell us details during booking and carry essential medication.
During the tour
Are tours private or shared?+
All tours advertised here are private for your booking party. Your vehicle and driver are not shared. A local class or camp activity may include other guests when noted.
What vehicles do you use?+
Party size, luggage and route determine the vehicle, usually an air-conditioned SUV, minivan or touring vehicle. Your proposal confirms the planned transport arrangement.
What kind of accommodation is included?+
The quotation identifies the accommodation category and room arrangement. Standard, Comfort and Luxury requests can be discussed, while desert bathroom arrangements depend on the confirmed camp.
Are meals included?+
Breakfast is included on overnight tours. Dinners are normally included in desert camps and remote kasbah stays. City dinners and most lunches remain open so you can choose.
Is Morocco safe?+
Morocco is a well-established destination, but normal travel awareness is still important. Routes may be adjusted for road or weather conditions, and your confirmed travel documents include the contact details relevant to your booking.
How much luggage can I bring?+
One medium suitcase and one day bag per person works for most private tours. Please tell us about larger items, wheelchairs, strollers or sports equipment so we assign the right vehicle.
Cancellations & changes
Can I change my dates?+
We will try to move services without penalty, but hotel and transport rates may change. Supplier change fees and non-refundable payments remain the traveler’s responsibility.
What if I need to cancel?+
Send the request in writing as soon as possible. The applicable charges depend on the terms accepted for your booking and any non-refundable supplier costs disclosed before confirmation.
What happens if weather affects the route?+
Safety comes first. We may reverse, shorten or replace an activity when roads or weather make the original plan unsuitable. We aim for an equivalent experience, but third-party refunds follow supplier terms.
Desert tours
Do I have to ride a camel?+
No. Camel rides are optional, and a 4×4 transfer to camp can be arranged. Tell us about mobility, back or joint concerns so we can recommend the best option.
Are there bathrooms at desert camp?+
Standard camps may use shared facilities. Comfort and Luxury camps normally offer private en-suite toilets and showers. Your proposal names the camp category and exact arrangement.
How cold does the Sahara get?+
Winter nights can approach freezing, while summer days are intensely hot. Camps provide bedding, but warm layers are essential from roughly November through March.
Is sandboarding included?+
Most Erg Chebbi camps have basic boards available at no extra cost. It is weather-dependent, informal and undertaken at your own risk.
