Clear planning before you travel
We confirm pickup details, accommodation level, optional guides and any special requests before asking you to commit.

Your itinerary
Distances and driving times are practical estimates. Traffic, weather, road conditions, meal breaks and photo stops can affect the timing.
Day 1: Fes to Middle Atlas to Merzouga
Distance: approximately 470 km | Driving time: approximately 7–8 hours with stops
View Day 1 itinerary details+
Leave Fes in the morning and travel southeast across the Middle Atlas. Mountain landscapes gradually give way to palm valleys and desert scenery before the evening arrival in Merzouga.
Fes departure
Meet your private driver at your hotel, riad or Fes airport and begin the cross-country journey toward Merzouga, with practical comfort and meal stops along the route.
Middle Atlas landscapes
Cross the Middle Atlas through changing mountain and plateau scenery. Viewpoint and refreshment stops are kept flexible according to road conditions and the pace of your party.
Merzouga arrival and desert camp
Arrive in Merzouga and continue to the camp by sunset camel ride or an optional 4x4 transfer. Dinner is served at the desert camp before your overnight stay in a private tent.
Travel note: This is the longest driving day. The approximate time includes planned stops, but traffic, weather and the condition of mountain roads can affect the arrival time in Merzouga.
Day 2: Merzouga to Todra Gorge to Dades Valley
Distance: approximately 275 km | Driving time: approximately 4–5 hours with stops
View Day 2 itinerary details+
After breakfast, leave Merzouga and travel west toward the limestone walls of Todra Gorge. Continue through the southeast to Dades Valley for the second overnight stay.
Merzouga departure
Return from the camp by the arranged camel or 4x4 transfer, meet your driver in Merzouga and begin the journey toward Todra Gorge.
Todra Gorge
Pause at Todra Gorge for time beneath the high limestone walls and beside the river. The stop is independent unless a local guide has been added to your confirmed quotation.
Dades Valley
Continue through the valley landscape toward your accommodation, with short scenic and comfort stops arranged around the day’s timing.
Evening and overnight
Arrive in the Dades Valley and check into your selected hotel, riad or kasbah. Dinner is served at the accommodation, with time to rest after the day’s journey.
Travel note: Today has less road time than Day 1, leaving a practical window for Todra Gorge and scenic pauses before check-in in the Dades Valley.
Day 3: Dades Valley to Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech
Distance: approximately 325 km | Driving time: approximately 6–7 hours with stops
View Day 3 itinerary details+
Leave Dades Valley after breakfast and follow the southern route through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate. Visit Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
Dades Valley departure
Check out after breakfast and begin the final day toward Marrakech, following the route through kasbah country and the southern valleys.
Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate
Travel through the Valley of Roses and continue via Ouarzazate, with the day’s pauses adjusted to protect enough time for Ait Ben Haddou and the High Atlas crossing.
Ait Ben Haddou
Stop at the historic earthen ksar of Ait Ben Haddou for an independent visit. Entrance fees or a local guide are included only when listed in your confirmed quotation.
Marrakech arrival
Cross the High Atlas Mountains and continue to Marrakech. The tour finishes with drop-off at your hotel, riad, airport or another agreed central location.
Travel note: Mountain traffic and weather can change the timing of the High Atlas crossing. Share any fixed Marrakech connection before departure so the day can be planned around it.
Important note about driving times
Morocco rewards the road, but distances can feel longer than they look on a map. Mountain passes, desert roads, city traffic and photo stops all affect the timing. We plan each day with realistic pauses so the route stays comfortable instead of rushed.
If you have a flight, train, dinner reservation or mobility concern, tell us before departure. We will adjust the pickup time or route where possible.
